Course Description

This course allows practising teachers to reflect on their experiences of using tech in the classroom and the need for 21st Century Skills. It looks at the impact of the integration of new technologies and practices into education, and considers what we can do to incorporate digital tools, AI, and virtual approaches into teaching and learning even more effectively.

Who is this course for?

The course is for Primary and Secondary level teachers who want to get up to speed and stay ahead of the latest technology trends in education. It will benefit teachers who want to gain a better understanding of active digital citizenship and digital literacy and are keen to learn how to incorporate these ideas into their teaching. It will also benefit teachers who are interested in exploring digital tools in the context of project-based teaching and learning. The course is suitable for both experienced and novice teachers.

English level required

Applicants should have a minimum B2 level of English (Intermediate). If you would like you to confirm your level, please contact one of our schools.

Course Aims

  • Guide teachers through a process of principled reflection on their own practice.
  • Introduce and analyse new technologies and practices in the classroom.
  • Utilise AI tools to create and adapt customised lesson plans.
  • Incorporate AI to create dynamic and adaptive lesson content which supports language skills.
  • Use digital tools, including AI, to effectively and efficiently assess students.
  • Support students in harnessing AI for language development.
  • Support students in developing the critical thinking skills to use AI responsibly.
  • Harness digital tools to develop, organise and implement a project for project-based learning.
  • Support students to create multimodal digital content and digital project artefacts for project-based learning.
  • Develop an awareness of digital citizenship among students.
  • Develop Teachers’ English language skills.
