Integrate sustainability & green education into teaching practice
Course outline
These Erasmus+ sustainability programmes help teachers and education professionals turn environmental awareness into practical learning and action.
Participants explore key themes in Education for Sustainable Development, including climate awareness, the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the role education can play in creating more sustainable communities. Training focuses on practical approaches that can be adapted to different subjects, age groups and education settings.
Depending on the course, participants may work with project-based learning, CLIL, collaborative activities and real-world environmental themes to design engaging lessons and sustainability projects. Programmes also explore how educators can encourage learners to think critically, make informed choices and take meaningful action on environmental issues.
Participants leave with practical ideas, resources and strategies they can use to embed sustainability into teaching, curriculum development and wider institutional practice.
