Professional Development and Practical Outcomes from Erasmus+ Staff Mobility
The 2026 programme comprises two dedicated Staff Weeks: one for VET & Higher Education and one for Primary & Secondary Education, enabling the professional content, peer exchange and partnership discussions to reflect the priorities of each education sector.
Both programmes combine professional seminars, facilitated peer learning, institutional visits, networking and partnership development across Dublin, Cork and Galway.

Programme Outline: For Erasmus+ coordinators, international project staff and school leaders involved in European mobility and cooperation. The programme explores staff and pupil mobility, school development, digitalisation, intercultural learning and sustainable European partnerships.
Erasmus+ Staff Weeks Designed for Coordinators and International Education Staff
International Staff Weeks provide an established framework for professional development, peer exchange, networking and international cooperation.
Our Staff Weeks are designed specifically around the responsibilities of Erasmus+ coordinators and international education professionals: planning quality mobility, supporting staff and learners, developing partnerships and strengthening the impact of international activity within their institutions.
Participants include:
- Erasmus+ Coordinators and Mobility Managers
- International Relations and International Office staff
- School and institutional leaders involved in Erasmus+
- VET and Higher Education professionals
- International Project Coordinators
- Staff responsible for European partnerships and mobility
Professional Learning with Practical Outcomes
Across both Staff Weeks, participants will explore current Erasmus+ priorities while sharing experience with colleagues from different European education systems. The programme combines structured professional learning with opportunities to compare approaches, discuss common challenges, develop new professional relationships and identify possibilities for future cooperation.

Costs and Erasmus+ funding
Erasmus+ can support eligible staff mobility and training activities, but participation in a Staff Week does not in itself guarantee Erasmus+ funding. Funding depends on the sending institution’s approved project or accreditation, participant eligibility, activity format and the rules applicable to the relevant Erasmus+ action and country.
Participants should obtain approval from their sending institution before making financial commitments.
